Some more wisdom..

When people tell you who they are, Maya Angelou famously advised, believe them. Just as importantly, however, when people try to tell you who you are, don’t believe them. You are the only custodian of your own integrity, and the assumptions made by those that misunderstand who you are and what you stand for reveal a great deal about them and absolutely nothing about you.

Dear terrorist, I am a very harmless guy who works in a Company that has its HQ in the UK (not the US). I am a hindu by birth and believe me I had no control over that. Why Chelsea?

I’ve often held this grouse against Liverpool and Manchester United’s fans that when you tend to have a discussion with them they bring out the reference of the “glory” days of the clubs. Man U in some respects have continued their supremacy owing to the twin factors of a tenacious manager and some poor performances of their rivals. But Liverpool as long as I have followed the league have been very patchy. They throw in some brilliant unstoppable performances some times and play utterly clueless football at other times. There is no denying the glorious history of the club. They have been the club with the most number of premier league titles and a history that’s etched in stone and full of achievements. If anybody does begin giving me a lesson on the history of football where the club that I follow features very little in, one would still find an ardent listener in me, because ‘we love this game'. Once you join a coaching centre it pretty much becomes clear that if the picture of IIM Ahmedabad does not feature next to your beloved family deities then you aren’t really serious about your classes in these institutes which will put you through a psychological toughness that is required to endure 2 hours which will largely constitute inability to answer most questions.
